Designed for a bachelor in his late twenties and his family, this home reflects a youthful, contemporary spirit while honouring the character of its historic setting. Nestled within a colonial building dating back to the early 1900s in the heart of old Mumbai, the project began by stripping the apartment back to its bones, transforming structural challenges into opportunities for thoughtful spatial planning. An earthy palette, soft curves, and bespoke furniture bring warmth and balance, while layered textures, curated artwork, and handcrafted details add personality. The result is a home where heritage architecture and contemporary living come together with ease, creating spaces that feel both rooted and refreshingly modern.
