Nestled within Pune’s cultural landscape, this bespoke duplex residence reinterprets Indian architectural heritage for contemporary living. Designed for a family of four, the home draws inspiration from the spatial clarity of wadas, the richness of havelis, and traditional craftsmanship, creating a home that feels both rooted and timeless.

Natural materials, artisanal details, and filtered light define the interiors. The double-height living room forms the heart of the home, featuring soaring windows, a hand-carved ceiling, a striking sky-blue stucco wall, and a traditional carved jharokha overlooking the space. Throughout the residence, custom flooring, carved woodwork, stained glass, antique brass accents, and arched openings celebrate Indian craft and materiality.

Balancing heritage with contemporary comfort, the home offers a warm, deeply personal environment that honors tradition while embracing modern living.
