Everyday Play

Designed for a young couple and their child, Apartment 605 is shaped around the rhythms of everyday family life. The brief called for a home that was playful, functional, and uniquely personal, leading to a thoughtful exploration of space and materiality. The layout was reimagined to include a den connected to the master bedroom, dedicated play areas, concealed storage, and bespoke shelving for books and toys. Framing the home, two expansive balconies were sculpted into seamless, multi-level spaces with built-in seating, tables, planters, and platforms finished in soft grey microtopping. Inside, a custom Bharat flooring terrazzo floor with brass, marble, and delicate leaf inlays weaves through the home, while warm teak wood ties every space together, creating a contemporary home rooted in comfort, creativity, and connection.
