Kalakaari Haath, a home décor brand known for its commitment to handcrafted art and meticulous attention to detail, embarked on the creation of its second flagship store in Hyderabad. Set against the lush, tree-lined backdrop of Jubilee Hills, the store is bathed in natural light, thanks to expansive floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides. The raw aesthetic of the space, accentuated by Kota stone flooring and an exposed concrete ceiling, provided an ideal foundation for the team to craft a refined and immersive retail experience. As a sister concern to Insitu Design Studio, the team employed a neutral yet timeless material palette, incorporating natural wood, brass, and traditional wood carvings. These elements evoke a sense of familiarity, resembling many Indian homes, while simultaneously elevating the store’s ambiance to showcase Kalakaari Haath’s vibrant, colorful range of products. From wall features to soft furnishings, the space has been thoughtfully curated to inspire customers, offering a visual guide to how these products can seamlessly integrate into their own living spaces. Innovative displays highlight creative applications of the products, such as using wallpaper in wall paneling and adding decals to arches. The layout caters to both minimalistic and maximalist tastes, offering a versatile platform for customers to explore, learn, and imagine possibilities for their home décor.
