This project was a 3 BHK apartment in Powai, Mumbai, home to a retired couple. The house originally was a careful collection of distinctly indian wood crafted furniture, slowly collected and curated over time. The project aimed at treading delicately around the existing character of the house, with careful additions, modifications and sculpting the space to carry the traditional legacy forward, all the while interlacing it with the contemporary Indian language of design.
